  • DuCharme, Bob - Mr. DuCharme is works at TopQuadrant, a leading software company in the Semantic Web world. He has authored numerous articles on XML and many books including: XML: The Annotated Specification, XSLT Quickly, and SGML CD.

  • Fox, Peter - Peter Fox is a professor in the Tetherless World Constellation at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Formerly, he was the Chief Computational Science at the High Altitude Observatory. His research specializes in the fields of solar and solar-terrestrial physics, computational and computer science, information technology, and grid-enabled, distributed semantic data frameworks.

  • Hendler, James A. - James Hendler is the Tetherless World Senior Constellation Chair at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he directs the "Future of Information" Project. He also serves as the Associate Director of the Web Science Research Initiative headquartered at MIT. He has written about 200 technical papers in the areas of artificial intelligence, Semantic Web, agent-based computing and high performance processing. He is a member of the World Wide Web Consortium's Semantic Web Coordination Group. He is the Editor in Chief of IEEE Intelligent Systems and is the first computer scientist to serve on the Board of Reviewing Editors for Science.

  • Institute for Human and Machine Cognition - IHMC is a not-for-profit research institute of the Florida University System and is affiliated with several Florida universities. Current active research areas include: knowledge modeling and sharing, adjustable autonomy, robotics, advanced interfaces and displays, communication and collaboration, computer-mediated learning systems, intelligent data understanding, software agents, expertise studies, work practice simulation, knowledge representation, and related areas.

  • McGuinness, Deborah L. - Deborah McGuinness has an endowed chair of the Tetherless World Research Constellation at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She is one of the creators of the Web Ontology Language (OWL). She previously led the Knowledge Systems Artificial Intelligence Laboratory at Stanford University and over 20 years experience researching ontology creation and evolution environments.
