  • Ada95 Lovelace Tutorial - This tutorial explains the basics of the Ada computer programming language. This tutorial assumes some exposure to other algorithmic programming languages (such as Pascal, C, C++, or Fortran). The tutorial covers the latest version of Ada (referred to as Ada95 or Ada9X). Differrences with the earlier verions of Ada (Ada93 and Ada87) are noted. The Ada95 Lovelace Tutorial was developed by David A. Wheeler.

  • Object Management Group (OMG) - OMG is a non-profit consortium dedicated to promoting the theory and practice of object technology (OT) for the development of distributed computing systems. OMG was formed to help reduce the complexity, lower the costs, and hasten the introduction of new software applications. Our goal is to provide a common architectural framework for object-oriented applications based on widely available interface specifications. Our international membership currently stands at over 600 software vendors, software developers and end users.

  • OOPSLA Workshop on Domain-Specific Modeling - An upward shift in abstraction leads to a corresponding increase in productivity. In the past this has occurred when programming languages have evolved towards a higher level of abstraction. Today, domain-specific modeling languages provide a viable solution for continuing to raise the level of abstraction beyond coding, making development faster and easier. Workshop Date: October 24, 2004.

  • Software Technology Support Center (STSC) -- Courses - Listing of STSC courses including Object-Oriented and Ada for Managers.
