Models, tools, and techniques for software maintenance estimation, performance, and tracking.
COCOMO II Model - COnstructive COst MOdel II (COCOMO II) is a model that allows one to estimate the cost, effort, and schedule when planning a new software development activity. COCOMO II is the latest major extension to the original COCOMO (COCOMO 81) model published in 1981. It consists of three submodels, each one offering increased fidelity the further along one is in the project planning and design process. Listed in increasing fidelity, these submodels are called the Applications Composition, Early Design, and Post-architecture models. The model includes capabilities for software maintenance cost estimating.
PRICE Systems LLC - PRICE® Systems enables organizations to successfully estimate and analyze the effort, schedule and cost of the projects. PRICE develops and supports cost estimating, analysis, and knowledge capture tools to help customers manage cost and schedule throughout a project's lifecycle. Combined with our expert mentoring in cost estimating, project control methods, and best practices, these tools enable a standard, repeatable cost estimating discipline.
PRICE® Systems markets the True S model for software estimation. This model is a successor to the PRICE-S model they have marketed.
SEER - From complex software projects to intricate manufacturing processes, Galorath's SEER™ Suite of Tools support project managers, cost analysts and engineers in decision-making. SEER tools are powerful, analytical tools that allow you to identify, evaluate and manage the complex array of cost, labor, schedule, reliability and risks associated with an organization's critical projects.
