OSMM is an open source product, available for use by any individual or organization, that provides a formal methodology that implements a standardized analytical framework for assessing the maturity of an open source product relative to the needs of the assessing organization. It results in a maturity score which essentially quantifies the maturity of the product thus facilitating comparisons among similar product offerings. Open Source Maturity Model is a trademark of Navica.
