Defense Acquisition University (DAU) - The DAU is an organization established by Congress in 1990 to consolidate and integrate education and training for the Defense Acquisition Workforce. In addition to providing training, it maintains the Acquisition Community Connection(ACC)on line forum for Communities of Practice.
Air Force Institute of Technology - The Air Force Institute of Technology, or AFIT, is the Air Force’s graduate school of engineering and management as well as its institution for technical professional continuing education. A component of Air University and Air Education and Training Command, AFIT is committed to providing defense-focused graduate and professional continuing education and research to sustain the technological supremacy of America’s air and space forces.
Air University (AU) - Air University, a major command direct reporting unit headquartered at Maxwell Air Force Base, Ala., is a major component of Air Education and Training Command, and is the Air Force's center for professional military education. Air University conducts professional military education, graduate education and professional continuing education for officers, enlisted personnel and civilians to prepare them for command, staff, leadership and management responsibilities.
Joint Forces Staff College - The mission of the Joint Forces Staff College, a component of the National Defense University, is to educate national security professionals to plan and execute joint, multinational, and interagency operations to instill a primary commitment to joint, multinational, and interagency teamwork, attitudes, and perspectives. Military operations increasingly require the Armed Services to work jointly and JFSC provides students the tools to operate in a joint environment. JFSC is composed of four schools, each with different student populations and purposes.
National Defense University (NDU) - The mission of the National Defense University is to ensure excellence in professional military education and research in the essential elements of national security. Toward that goal the University is home to several colleges and institutions: Industrial College of the Armed Forces, Information Resource Management College, Institute for National Strategic Studies, National War College, and Center for Hemispheric Defense Studies.
Naval Postgraduate School: Computer Science Department - The Naval Postgraduate School is an academic institution whose emphasis is on study and research programs relevant to the Navy's interests, as well as to the interests of other arms of the Department of Defense. The programs are designed to accommodate the unique requirements of the military.
