AACE Cost Consultant Certification - AACE International's certification programs have been operated since 1976, and offer applicants who meet the eligibility requirements the ability to successfully take a test and attain certification through the Association. The specialty certifications currently offered include: CCC (Certified Cost Consultant) or CCE (Certified Cost Engineer), ICC (Interim Cost Consultant), Earned Value Professional (EVP), and PSP (Planning & Scheduling Professional).
American Graduate University EVM Courses - American Graduate University Course 647, Earned Value Management Systems, is part of a Master's Degree curriculum for a Master's Degree in Project Management, although the course may be taken by itself. This course concentrates on how to avoid inefficient use of scarce resources, constant re-planning, cost overruns, schedule slippages and failure to achieve technical objectives. You learn about effective systems for comparing the actual work being accomplished with the planned increments of work, regardless of the time period in which the work is performed and regardless of whether there is a formal customer requirement. The emphasis is on practical day-to-day use of cost/schedule performance control, earned value and project-control systems to manage a program or project.

Certified individuals 1) demonstrate nominal levels of training and work experience and 2) pass a written exam testing their knowledge and skills.
